TBA: Jonesboro, Our Craighead County Veterans Parade is on Saturday, TBA November 2018. I have a feeling that all your members are probably already committed. But, I have to ask: Is there someone who would like to share a vehicle with us here in Jonesboro that Saturday?
This parade is the largest parade conducted in northeast Arkansas.
On Saturday, November 2018, the Jonesboro-Craighead County Veteran's Parade takes place. Sign up begins at 8:30 AM at the corner of Oak and Cherry Streets (downtown). The first unit will roll out at 10:00 AM. The parade route is Main (pass reviewing stand) to Huntington to Union Avenue. Units are released behind the Craighead County courthouse.
Immediately following the parade (approximately 11:00 AM), a patriotic program begins with speakers taking their turns on the reviewing stand.
Next year the same routine will be followed. That date will be Saturday, November 2019. We would love to have any of your members come and share their restored (labor of love) vehicle with us. There is NO entrance fee involved.
We would love to see entries this year, if possible!

TBA: Clarksville, This years Veterans Parade in Clarksville will be on Saturday, at 10am. The American Legion has always run the parade here and struggled to get a big turnout so this year they are teaming up with the city and combining it with an event called "Red Blue and You" which honors Firefighters, Police, and First Responders. At the end of the parade all military vehicles, antique cars, Police and Fire units, will be parked and displayed around the courthouse and a ceremony and lunch will follow. The legion will provide a free BBQ Chicken meal to all veterans and parade participants and there will be a Chili Cook Off going on as well, sponsored by the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce. Police and Fire units will be on hand, along with military recruiters, and there will be several guest speakers. With the city getting more involved and promoting the event I expect a larger turnout of both spectators and participants and the Legion is asking for all the military vehicles we can provide. Keep in mind the Clarksville Legion has helped us out in the past with our convoys so please show your support if you can and roll into Clarksville with your best vehicle. It should be a fun patriotic day.
Anyone wishing to participate can meet at my place that morning, plenty of room for trucks and trailers, and we can all convoy together to the parade line up. Let's plan on leaving here at 9am that morning so we have time to get in place and riders loaded. My address is 20 Craigwood Ln., Clarksville, just north of downtown. Let me know if you can participate, what vehicle you will be bringing, if you have room for riders, and if you need directions: firstname.lastname@example.org
TBA: Fort Smith, The 8th Annual Regional Veterans Day Parade & Celebration will be held at Chaffee Crossing on November , 2018, starting at Noon!
