Calendar of Petit Jean Rallies

All future Petit Jean Rallies will be held on the week of the 4th Saturday of September. 

If you would like to pre-register your military vehicle contact Ev Harless for the form.  Cost is $7.50 for as many vehicles as you would like to register.

Vendor spaces are available:  $35.00 if you  pre register your space (call Buddy Hoelzeman 501.727.5427)  $40.00 if rented when you arrive. 

Directions:

From I-40 take Exit 108 at Morrilton.  Turn south on Hwy 9.  Follow the signs to Petit Jean State Park or the Automobile Museum.  Take Hwy. 9 South across the AR river bridge to Oppelo (approximately 2 miles).  Turn West (right) at the caution light in Oppelo onto Hwy. 154 toward Petit Jean Mountain.  (it is approximately 5 miles to the mountain).  The rally turn in is at the east gate (first gate you will come to) of the Museum of Autos swap meet grounds.  The AR MVPA rally is just inside the gate between the bleachers. 

If you are trailering or driving a military vehicle you won't have any trouble getting through the gate.  Otherwise, show your AR MVPA or MVPA membership card.  Come to the headquarters (in the Quonset hut) to get a pass for your auto window. This will make it easy to come and go without a hassle.

Petit Jean Rally - Tentative Schedule of Events

18-19 SEP: Workdays for members (8:30 a.m. until early afternoon.)

 
 
Spaces available at the lodge, apartments, cabins and houses at the Winthrop Rockefeller Center just a few miles from the rally grounds.  These can be reserved 40 days in advance of the Rally.  Accommodations are very nice.  These are a little more pricey than Mather Lodge, but would save gas and time from driving to and from Morrilton or Russellville.  To make reservations call 501 727 5435.  Cedar Falls Motel  (This is just a block or so from the Rally grounds)  501 727 5636  Cost are a little lower than Mather Lodge.  Mather Lodge will be closed, but the cabins will remain open.  They need to be reserved as early as possible - 501 727 5431.  Camping is available at the Petit Jean State Park. 
 
The FoxHole Store could use donated items to sell.  Any item that you think might sell is acceptable:  knickknacks, collectables, (new or used), military items, vehicle parts etc.  Just decide on the selling price you think is fair.  All items will be appreciated. Just  bring them to the FoxHole Store at the rally.  Money earned from the FoxHole store goes toward the food for the next year's rally.

This year will be the AR MVPA 10th Anniversary of the Petit Jean Mt. Rally and the 20th Anniversary of the club (It was formed Sep 91)
