CONVENTION

THE 35TH ANNUAL
MVPA CONVENTION will be held at the
Topeka Expocentre, hosted by the MVPA’s Rolling
Thunder affiliate. Located just south of
downtown at One Expocentre Dr., Topeka, KS
66612, the Expocentre is easily accessible from
I-70. It is climate controlled and spacious with
room for over 400 vendor tables and 200 HMVs.
The Expocentre is user friendly with plenty of
FREE PARKING, an ATM, and snack bar. An onsite
shipper will make it easy to get all that you
purchase home. Vendors will enjoy the drive
through unloading/loading access, FREE forklift
service and pallet jack use. This is a
convenient event, with the swap meet and vehicle
display on the same level, and adjacent to one
another. The host hotel, where all the meals,
seminars and meetings will be held, is attached
to the Expocentre. No driving necessary, but if
you insist, there are easily accessible
restaurants and hotels nearby. Visit the

TOPEKA, KANSAS is Located in
the heart of the country and promises to be a
very well attended convention. It is easily
accessible to thousands of MVPA members in all
directions. Just 60 miles from Kansas City, 315
miles from St Louis, and just over 500 miles
from Dallas, Chicago, and Denver. Topeka is big
enough to be interesting and small enough to
easily navigate your way to some delectable
dining and unique shopping
Kids of all ages will enjoy
the Topeka Zoo at Gage Park where you can ride
the Mini-Train and Carousel, then stroll through
the Reinisch Rose Garden. Take time to
experience Topeka's first-class attractions,
including the Brown v. Board of Education
National Historic Site & Museum, the Kansas
Museum of History, and State Capitol. Kansas is
filled with military history, so as you make
your plans to attend the MVPA convention,
include a visit to one of the following: The
Eisenhower Museum in Abilene, the Fort Scott
National Historic Site, or tour historic active
military installations at Fort Riley or Fort
Leavenworth, and just across the state line in
Kansas City Missouri is the National WWI Museum.
